A long awaited collaboration from two sides of the Pacific, Japanese mountaineering specialists And Wander have teamed up with our long term American favourites Danner for a capsule collection of outdoor gems. The original Danner Light was introduced in 1979, the golden era of backpacking and set the standard for Gore Tex Liners. The And Wander version is still built by hand in Danner’s Portland, Oregon factory with a grey and black colour palette as well as And Wander’s signature reflective detailing and embossed logo’s on the heal and tongue. The materials are close to the original opting for a rugged suede rather than a smooth leather upper, ripstop reflective nylon panels and a waterproof GORE-TEX liner. This classic-inspired boot features stitchdown construction and a Vibram Kletterlift outsole for stable traction on a variety of terrain.
